Fall 2010 MWUG Conference

We are very excited after returning from the recent QAD Midwest User Group (MWUG) Conference held in Dearborn, MI in September. In case you don't know, MWUG is the largest independent user group for QAD's manufacturing management and Enterprise Application software. They represent manufacturing companies in the Midwestern U.S. as well as QAD partners and other product/service providers who support QAD systems.

With 305 total attendees, this was one of the highest attended MWUG's in the past several years...! We spoke to so many existing customers, as well as connected with some new faces. Nick Weidner and ISS Group presented an encore presentation this past Friday, April 16th discussing how Wellman Products Group is utilizing ISS Group's iPurchase eProcurement solution to reduce MRO and non-production purchasing costs. Mr. Weidner also presented an overview of Wellman's implementation of iPurchase, the objectives of implementing this solution, the challenges faced during implementation, and the ROI being generated. A brief demo of the solution was also provided, followed by a Q&A session.
